What does it mean for you?
It means that the new content analysis tool is being improved significantly. The tool has a number of important upgrades to make sure you get the most out of Yoast SEO.
The Yoast SEO Content tool has been a major help for us in getting better SEO results for our users.
We would suggest you take a look at the video and review this important update to make sure you adjust your content according to the best practice.
The Publish Bar Update
With this latest update we get a really cool new UI on the Publish Bar Update.
I really like this feature because it highlights the SEO top level items before I press publish.
Even on this article it made me revisit my content to make it better and more SEO friendly, furthermore it made me do better analysis across all my content especially around transition words.
New Content Checks
Yoast SEO now has 6 content checks including:
- It will check sentence length
- paragraph length and your use of subheadings
- The use of passive voice
- The use of transition words
- Finally, we it will calculate your Flesch Reading Ease score
This makes it super easy to check your content, not only because it tells you a great list of features but it also gives you links to help documents on how to deal with each item on the list.
This is a big update from YoastSEO and you will see these updates in your Managed Website Service later today.
